We help you keep your teeth and gums healthy for life

We provide professional cleanings and gum disease treatment, as well as education on how to care for your teeth at home. Regular cleanings can help to prevent gum disease and other problems.

Convenient hours

Preventative care is important, so we offer convenient, flexible hours to make it easier for you to come for your regular cleanings. There are almost always two hygienists in the office at all times, and we are open from 8 AM to 7 PM, and are even open on Saturdays.

Gentle and thorough Cleanings

Our hygienists are highly trained and experienced and know how to give a thorough cleaning that is also gentle. They are very good at taking their time with each patient and use the latest high-tech equipment to make your cleanings and gum treatment as comfortable as possible.

Ultrasonic scalers

Ultrasonic scalers are used to remove hard mineral deposits, stains and tartar from the surface of your teeth as well as under the gums. Ultrasonic scalers use high frequency sound waves to remove buildup without harming your teeth or causing discomfort. They not only help to make cleanings more comfortable, they also make them much faster.

Patient education

Our hygienists understand the importance of patient education. They will show you proper brushing and flossing techniques and advise you on how best to care for your teeth at home. Their aim is to keep your teeth and mouth healthy and your smile bright.

In addition, they use the CAESY video education system to show you colorful and informative videos that explain home care clearly.

High-tech and comfortable treatment for mild to moderate Gum Disease

Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss, but can be treated effectively.

Our hygienists are great at treating mild to moderate gum disease. They take their time to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible. They use the latest in laser technology for deep cleanings. All our hygienists are certified and trained in the use of soft tissue diode lasers.

Tooth roots are planed using hand instruments and ultrasonic scalers and the soft tissue laser is used to remove diseased tissue and bacteria that cause gum disease inside the pocket. The use of the laser has been shown in research to be very effective and produces longer lasting results.

Advantages of Laser Gum Disease Treatment

  • Less bleeding

  • Little to no swelling

  • Less tissue damage

  • Fast recovery period

  • Minimally invasive

  • Less sensitive afterwards

  • Less discomfort

Eliminating the bacteria that cause Gum Disease

Arestin is a prescription antibiotic used to help eliminate bacteria that has collected in gum pockets and can’t be easily reached. After scaling and planing, Arestin is placed directly in the deeper pockets. Over a period of days, the antibiotic dissolves and kills the bacteria collected in the pocket.

Treating severe Gum Disease

When plaque has been building up too long without any treatment, the threat to your teeth is much more acute. It can destroy bone that holds the teeth as well as surrounding soft tissue. Severe gum disease is also associated with other health issues, such as heart disease, strokes and more.

Dr. Bonin treats cases of severe gum disease. He has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of dentistry, including treatment of severe gum disease.
