Dental Bridges in Huntington Beach
Durable, long-lasting replacement for missing teeth
A dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth. Replacement teeth made from porcelain are anchored on to your own natural teeth.
Dental bridges are usually made with porcelain fused to metal, but all-ceramic bridges are also available.
Other options for missing teeth
In the past, a dental bridge was one of the few solutions for missing teeth. Currently, dental implants are the preferred method for handling missing teeth. Implant technology has advanced a great deal and can handle most cases.
Dr. Pham and our staff feel that dental implants are usually a much better solution and often recommend them for our patients. Implants look, feel and function like natural teeth and prevent further bone-loss, which makes them a great way to solve the problem of missing teeth.
Dental bridges require that the adjacent teeth, (often healthy teeth), are ground down and capped to act as anchors for the bridge. This is an irreversible procedure. This is not necessary with dental implants, making them a more conservative treatment option.
